This week we took a long time to discuss what we should focus on for Phase II. Since Rong Hui is a hybrid film, the phase assessments do not exactly line up with the progress of the film. We were able to organize the new elements we want for the backgrounds.
For next phase, we are currently working on what the 2D textures will look like. We are also continuing to do compositing tests. Additionally, we fired a 2D animation supervisor to assist us with the 2D animation and communication with the animators.
We were also able to send out feedback to our collaborators from Phase I, and we are eagerly looking forward to the results from the notes.
